THIRST fashion show for earth month

a few weeks ago we had a fashion show along with the Aveda Institute in Provo and all the other Aveda salons in Utah and Salt Lake County.

All proceeds from the Fashion Show went to Western Resource Advocates, which is an organization dedicated to protecting the water here in the western US.

The fashion show was really fun and everyones models looked amazing!

here's a quick slideshow of our models and behind the scenes!

our models dresses were made out of recycled materials, the coffee filter dress was made out of approximately 190 used coffee filters and worn by kylee, the capri sun dress was made out of approximately 100 capri suns and worn by emma and the soda can dress was made out of approximately 220 different parts of soda cans and worn by alex.

the coffee filter dress and capri sun dress are up for silent auction at the salon until the end of the month, so come by and donate for a great cause!

post has been sucessful in going darker, because now she's a brunette!

there are still a few golden dark blonde pieces through the top, but it's a big change for her.

i love how the color turned out, and it'll be a lot easier for katie to manage since the color is closer to her natural.
